GRACE Scholars, Inc. is a Georgia nonprofit and tax exempt charity.
GRACE has met the requirements for designation as a student scholarship organization (SSO) in Georgia. As an SSO, Georgia taxpayers can redirect part of their state tax liability to GRACE and qualify for a generous tax benefit – a 100 percent tax credit! Owners of S Corporations, LLC's and partnerships may contribute up to $10,000 for a tax credit! GRACE is also a tax exempt charity (501-c-3 organization) and gifts to GRACE qualify as charitable contributions under federal law.
The mission of GRACE Scholars, Inc. is to provide Georgia families with demonstrated financial need an opportunity to secure a quality Pre-K-12 Catholic education for their children.
At St. Peter Claver Regional Catholic School, over 40 students are GRACE recipients and many more qualify. GRACE offers its donors an opportunity to use their tax dollars to support a wonderful cause - Catholic school scholarships. Please consider participating!
To be eligible for a GRACE award, the student must be a resident of the state of Georgia and demonstrate financial need as indicated through FACTS. Eligibility also requires that the student entering a Catholic school for the first time at the Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten or First grade levels or if entering 2nd grade and above, the student must be transferring from a Georgia public school.
