Hearts & Heritage
"Thanks for Giving" BBQ Dinner
April 12, 2018
5 PM

Each year, St. Peter Claver holds its Hearts and Heritage BBQ Dinner as a way to build community and generate financial support for the school.  The past two years have been quite a success- raising enough money to build an expansive, new, ecofriendly playground and an outdoor learning center complete with education panels and grade-level raised garden beds. We are fortunate to have a very supportive, generous school and parish community who came together to help us achieve our goal of turning our outdoor space into a place for active play and critical thinking and learning.

This year, with our Many Gifts One Nation - A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools and Publix Marathon fund raising efforts, we would like to say Thank You to you our sponsors and contributors. Funds from the Many Gifts One Nation, A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools will help in the purchase of instructional materials, purchase additional technology for students and retain and attract highly-qualified instructional staff. In addition, the Publix Marathon Funds will go towards the enhancement of our field so that our students will have a track for physical education and track club practice on the campus.

Please mark your calendar for this year's Hearts & Heritage "Thanks for Giving" BBQ Dinner and be our guest as we show our appreciation to you!

2015 Playground Blessing an Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On April 22, 2015, Archbishop Gregory visited St. Peter Claver to celebrate Mass, perform a ceremonial ribbon cutting and most importantly to bless the newly installed play structure.  It was a beautiful day for our church and school community. Take a look at the slideshow below!
